Donald Trump pulled the United States out of the Iran nuclear deal and imposed new sanctions on Iran instead.
“The atomic agency, the IAEA, has certified eight times that Iran is compliant with all the commitments included in the agreement,” said Federica Mogherini, High Representative of the European Union.

Yet when it comes to Russian aggression, Trump wants to do nothing.
The Trump administration declined to implement new sanctions against Russia for interfering in the 2016 election. UN Ambassador Nikki Halley said the administration would impose sanctions against Russia for its support of the Assad regime in Syria, but the White House backtracked.
