The Iran nuclear deal “represents a major achievement in nuclear non-proliferation and diplomacy,” said Stéphane Dujarric, UN Secretary General Spokesman.
“It is one of the biggest achievements diplomacy has ever delivered,” said EU High Representative Federica Mogherini. “The culmination of 12 years of diplomacy.”
It has “contributed to slowing down (Iran’s) activities,” said German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
“We cannot say we should get rid of it,” said French President Emmanuel Macron. “Iran shall never possess any nuclear weapons.”
President of Iran Hassan Rouhani called Donald Trump’s withdrawing the U.S. from the deal psychological warfare.
