Trump attacked Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), even criticizing his wife’s looks, but Cruz has already endorsed Trump’s 2020 re-election bid.
Trump continues to go after his attorney general, Jeff Sessions, yet Sessions considers an “honor” to serve Trump.
Trump belittled Ben Carson, saying Carson wasn’t “born with it” to deal on trade and doesn’t have “the temperament for it;” yet Carson continues to serve Trump as HUD secretary.
Trump said he would not want to be “in a foxhole” with Paul Ryan, yet the House Speaker back Trump at all costs.
There is no doubt that the GOP puts its support of Trump above all else.
