Donald Trump’s personal lawyer Michael Cohen is under investigation.
The raid of his office was carried out not directly through Special Counsel Robert Mueller, but instead by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York in conjunction with the FBI.

Some argue that this investigation “poses a greater and more imminent threat to the president” than the Special Counsel’s.
How so? On top of his own shady financial dealings, Cohen is Trump’s trusted fixer, who’s worked with him for years.
Mueller aside, Cohen could go to prison for bank fraud or campaign finance violations.
Who knows what else he and Donald Trump have done?
