Donald Trump’s cabinet members defend massive cuts to their departments, all the while spending lavishly on themselves.

Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Price supported cutting $1 trillion from Medicaid. But he spent almost $400,000 on private flights for business and personal trips.

Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke defended $400 million in cuts to the National Parks. But he spent $139,000 on doors for his office.

Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson supported large budget cuts to his department, including cuts to rental assistance for 200,000 seniors, families, and people with disabilities. Yet Carson ordered a $31,000 dining set for his office.

The message is clear. Trump officials care about themselves, not the American people.
