Ryan Zinke and his family are facing ethical issues.
Zinke didn’t properly document his travel and chartered himself a flight with taxpayer money.
His four-hour flight cost taxpayers $12,375.
Zinke’s wife Lola is causing headaches for Interior staff. Lola had the federal government coordinate her political and travel activities. She even had Interior staff invite her guests to a political event.
Lola also joined Secretary Zinke on meetings with governors and other government officials.
The National Park Service diverted resources for Zinke’s family day trip to the Channel Islands. His family outing diverted government resources and cost taxpayers nearly $2,000.
This nepotism is unacceptable.
