Rudy is at it again. Giuliani admitted Trump is undermining the Russia investigation and said he’s not so comfortable with Trump’s case in the obstruction investigation. Watch: Rudy Giuliani’s contradictions
In an interview with CNN, Donald Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani admitted that the Trump team is specifically trying to undercut Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation.
“Of course, we have to do it in defending the president,” Giuliani said. “It is for public opinion, because eventually the decision here is going to be impeach, not impeach.”
Giuliani also said he’s not so comfortable with Trump’s case in the obstruction investigation.
“I hope I know what I’m doing,” Giuliani said. He doesn’t. And neither does Trump.
Investigations
Special Counsel Robert Mueller is moving forward with the investigation into possible coordination between Donald Trump’s campaign and the Russian government during the 2016 election, while Congress’ investigations vary in their direction and effectiveness.
