They both claimed they didn’t obstruct justice. They both preached “law and order.” They both attacked the press. And they both thought the investigation into them was absurd — Trump saying there was no collusion, Nixon saying he didn’t know about the Watergate break-in.
Nixon resigned before Congress had the chance to impeach him. We can’t bet on Republicans convincing the President to resign this time around.
