Finish what we started
"It's time to move forward with the Presidency, the House, and the Senate. We will not stop doing what's right. Let's get to work."
Every president since Ronald Reagan has released his tax returns publicly—except for Donald Trump. He has claimed he hasn’t released them because they are under audit, but that does not prevent him or anyone from releasing personal tax returns. His tax returns would tell us how successful he is, how his companies operate overseas, if he donates to charity, and if he pays any taxes altogether. Trump’s refusal to not release his taxes begs the question: What is he hiding?
The Presidential Tax Transparency Act (H.R.305 and S.26) amends the 1978 Ethics in Government Act to require the president and certain presidential candidates to release federal income tax returns from the last three taxable years.
Contact your Senators and urge them to support the Presidential Tax Transparency Act.
