(WASHINGTON, D.C., April 10, 2018)—Need to Impeach Founder Tom Steyer—who is working to remove Donald Trump from office—will be attending the White House Correspondents’ Dinner onApril 28, 2018, as a guest of USA Today.

Steyer launched the Need to Impeach campaign, which now has more than 5.1 million supporters across the country, on October 20, 2017, creating a digital army that several political strategists call one of the most powerful political tools in the Democratic party. So far, seven national Need to Impeach commercials—including one in Spanish—have aired, reaching more than 2-billion television viewers and more than 454 million people through social media.

Steyer is currently on a nationwide town hall tour, with 30 events planned in communities across the country to make the patriotic case to Democrats, Independents, and Republicans about the need for impeachment, and to question why elected leaders ignore the clear mandate from their constituents. Town halls have been held in Ohio and the Washington D.C. area, with others planned in California, Iowa, Florida, Colorado, North Carolina, South Carolina, New Hampshire, Washington State, and Nevada.
