Town hall will encourage attendees to vote in November and take back the House

St. PetersburgFL — On FridaySeptember 28th, Need to Impeach and NextGen America Founder Tom Steyer will host a “Need to Vote” town hall in St. Petersburg to fire up voters in Florida ahead of the November midterm elections. The event will be moderated by Rick Kriseman, Mayor of St. Petersburg. At the town hall, Steyer will discuss his plans to help Democrats win the House and how attendees can take action this fall and help mobilize voters. Steyer will also address issues affecting their communities and take questions from the audience.

Need to Vote will engage both NextGen America and Need to Impeach members and volunteers, and encourage them to take action electorally. Running the largest youth vote program in history, NextGen America organizers have registered over 188,000 new voters this year and Need to Impeach has built an online community of more than 5.8 million members. Steyer will continue to host town halls across the country through November, in an effort to mobilize progressives to get out and vote for Democrats up and down the ticket on November 6.
