Des MoinesIA — From TuesdaySeptember 18 to ThursdaySeptember 20, Tom Steyer will visit Des Moines and Iowa City to energize voters ahead of the November midterms. On Tuesday, Steyer will host a “Need to Vote” town hall in Des Moines, an open-to-the-public event where attendees will hear from Steyer, discuss issues affecting their communities, and make a plan for taking action this fall. On Wednesday and Thursday, Steyer will join NextGen Iowa organizers Drake University and the University of Iowa, respectively, to engage students and register them to vote in November.

NextGen America is running the largest youth organizing program in American history, and Need to Impeach has built an online community of almost 5.7 million members. This fall, Steyer will host Need to Vote town halls that engage both the NextGen America and Need to Impeach communities and encourage them to take action for Democrats up and down the ticket on November 6th.
