Four more members of Congress and four presidential candidates announced their support for an impeachment inquiry this week

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — This week, as public support for impeachment continued to grow across the country, four more members of Congress announced their support for beginning impeachment proceedings to hold Donald Trump accountable, bringing the number of Congress Members that support impeachment up to 66.

“This week, Donald Trump continued his unprecedented attacks on our democracy, and by now, it should be clear to members of Congress that the longer he stays in office, the more damage he does,” said Need to Impeach founder Tom Steyer. “Congress has a constitutional duty to hold this lawless and corrupt president to account, and the best way to do that is to start an impeachment inquiry immediately. Congressional leadership on impeachment continues to grow, and the American people deserve nothing less than representatives who stand up for our values.”
