Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was asked, “Did the President approve of the payment that was made in October of 2016 by his longtime lawyer and adviser Michael Cohen?”
Her response: “Look, the President has addressed these directly and made very well clear that none of these allegations are true.”
Trump previously denied knowing about that payment to Stormy Daniels, telling a reporter to ask his attorney, Cohen. Trump said he didn’t know where Cohen got the money for the payment.
But now Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani said Trump “repaid” the money.
