Impeached!

What’s next?

On October 21, 2017, Tom Steyer launched Need to Impeach in order to pressure Congress to hold the most corrupt president in U.S. history accountable.

Over 8.5 million Need to Impeach petition signers rallied together to help flip the House in 2018 — and then, through calls, emails, petitions, tweets, and notecards, they kept up the pressure on their newly elected Representatives to do their jobs.

On December 18, 2019, Donald Trump was officially impeached.

CONTINUE THE FIGHT

“By denying the American people a fair trial, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) also deprived the president of something that he desperately sought — exoneration. There can be no exoneration without a legitimate trial. Out of fear of what they would learn, the Senate refused to hold one. The president will not be vindicated, and neither will the Senate, certainly not by history.” - Adam Schiff, Washington Post
