Unlike every president since Ronald Reagan, Donald Trump has not released his tax returns. He has called them “beautiful,” but has a lot of excuses for not showing them.
He has repeatedly said they’re under audit (even though that does not stop him from releasing them).
He has said he’d do it when Hillary Clinton releases her emails.
And he has said he doesn’t need to do it because Americans don’t care, just reporters do.
But those are just excuses. The real reason he won’t release his taxes: He’s afraid of what we’ll find.
